3RDnature's Staff
Michael McTigue
First race: 1973, last race: the rat race. Michael quit the rat race to work with bicycles and customers full time. He’s worked on the manufacturer’s side as well as retail, so he knows all the aspects of the bicycle industry. Michael has raced, toured, done randoneering, mountain biked and commutes by bike regularly. He’s been trained in bike fitting by Tom Coleman of Wobble Naught fame. As one of the owners of 3RDnature, Michael has set out to build a bike store like no other. You can contact Michael at michael@3rdnaturecycling.com.
Paul Kaczorowski
Paul is the resident commuter and high mileage guy. Paul commutes from New York City every day, even in the snow! He doesn’t think twice about taking his day off to do a century to Bear Mountain. Paul also has used the demo fleet at 3RDnature to sample everything we have to offer, so if you want someone to bounce around a few ideas, call Paul, or better yet, join him for a ride. Click here to go to Paul's blog to read him Ranting and Raving while testing various equipment. You can contact Paul at paul@3rdnaturecycling.com.
Leo Parascondola
Leo is the human GPS! A rider par excellence, a raconteur, and a hell of a nice guy. Leo brings over 30 years of riding experience and winning ways to 3RDnature as ride leader, news letter editor and on the show room floor. If you want to talk to someone that’s seen it all (and tells a heck of a good story) come see Leo! You can contact Leo at lparascondola@mac.com.
Roselvert “Pollo” Marte
Pollo grew up in the Dominican Republic and got involved in racing BMX bikes at a young age. As a teen, he “graduated” to road racing and quickly became an adept sprinter. He rode on the Dominican national team for several years, competing in events all over Central and South America and the Caribbean, and he was the Dominican national road race champion for a few years running in the mid-nineties. Upon moving to NYC, Pollo began working as a bike mechanic and racing successfully at the local and regional level in his spare time. Impressed by Pollo’s creative approach to solving mechanical problems and his attention to detail, Michael hired him as a founding member of the 3RDnature staff in 2007. Working at the shop from Monday through Friday, Pollo continues to race on the weekends.
